Juniors and Seniors Promenade 2011
Juniors and Seniors Promenade is also known as “JS Prom”. This year, our school prepared a very different Prom for juniors and seniors batch 2010-2011. This time, they changed the theme of JS Prom. We all know that when talking about Prom, the theme is always formal. But this time, they prepared Hawaiian Luan Party for us.
Of course, ladies’ dresses are floral and also the boys, following our theme. We had the search for the following titles: Mr. and Ms. Hawaiian prince and princess, Mr. and Ms. Hawaiian Tropic, and Mr. and Ms. Hawaiian Luan. One of the titles, the Mr. Hawaiian Tropic was achieved by our handsome classmate, Fausto L. Carlos, Jr., from 3-science. The other titles were achieved by 3-A and 4th year student whom I don’t even remember. Our JS is very successful. We felt a different ambiance. We experienced something different.
This JS will be unforgettable for me. I hope, next JS will be as successful as this JS. I really enjoyed this JS, even though we’re tired and already sleepy when we went home. I’ll never forget this first JS of mine.

History of Blog’s Name

My blog’s name is “Fortunate Lover”. Actually when our teacher told us that we should prepare our own blog’s name that day, I got difficulty thinking what my blog’s name would be. In fact, my classmate helped me thinking about that. After so many suggestions, we ended at “Fortunate Lover”. They said that they suggested it because they based it on my own personality and belief.

I always think that my dreams can come true. In short, I’m a positive thinker. I’m also a happy person despite of having a serious face. Most of my classmates and my friends told me that their first impression on me is I’m a loner, and they thought that maybe they can’t be with me. I just laugh on them, because now they realized that they are mistaken.

Fortunate means bringing something good and unforeseen; auspicious; lucky and happy. All those meanings suit my belief and personality. Sometimes, things happened to me unexpectedly. There are times that I received something unexpected. When I experienced the most unexpected event that happened to me, I started being a positive thinker.

I tried to think other names for my blog, that will suit my personality. But I always get a hard time thinking of it. So, I decided to make up my mind following my first choice of blog’s name which is “Fortunate Lover
